Application, provisional national protection and final EU registration are different stages. A national document or an approved control plan does not replace confirmation in eAmbrosia. Compare the dates and content of the original documents below; consult the official register for the current status.
A protected designation of origin ties production to a written specification. “Which species?”, “Where was it harvested?” and “Is the product certified against the specification?” therefore need separate checks.
